Sandman Boxers was Established in July of 2001 by George and Rachel Williams out of our love for boxers. After consulting with many respected and trusted breeds in Europe, We have carefully selected a number of top Quality European boxers to breed based on health, temperament and our personal likes. Our goal at Sandman Boxers is to give you a muscular, big boned boxer with a strong head, deep European chest, with a short yet wide muzzle with plenty of expression. Entering his sixth season in the Arena League and with the SaberCats…Has been a force on the line logging major minutes during his career but was hampered by knee and ankle injuries last season…A veteran lineman should have an impact at the NG position under the league's new rules…Has shown versatility and athleticism by playing different positions and catching 7 passes with 6 TD in 2007, and helping the Sabercats win 3 Arena Bowl Championship in 6 years…Was such a force during his prep days that his high school jersey was retired following the 1999 season…Played three seasons at defensive tackle with the NFL's New York Giants…Originally signed as a free agent on November 27, 2001.
COLLEGE: A four-year letterwinner at North Carolina State (1994-97)…Finished his career ranked 3rd on the Wolfpack's career tackles for loss list with 26…He started all 11 games on the defensive line for the Wolfpack as a senior…A member of N.C. State's 1994 Peach Bowl team…Started 11 games his junior season placing 4th in total tackles with 45…Started 9 of 11 games posting 66 tackles as a sophomore, including a career-best 11 vs Virginia…Played in 11 games with one start as a true freshman in 1994.
PERSONAL: George Williams born December 8th, 1975 in Clinton, N.C.…A three-sport star at Lakewood High School in Roseboro, N.C. where he competed in football, basketball and track…Played tight end and fullback on offense and split time between defensive end and linebacker on during his prep career…Had 150 tackles and 5 INTs on defense and ran for 155 yards and caught 35 passes for 515 yards on offense as a senior to earn team MVP, All-Conference and All-Region honors…Was such a dominant force that his high school jersey was retired during the summer of 1999…
Rachel Williams born July, 4th 1975 in Hackensack, NC. Rachel a track star at Hackensack High also had wonderful prep career. Rachel and I were married in February, 2002…We have one daughter and five sons …I hosted several football camp and coached Pee Wee football for the Cliffdale Panthers, lead by our son Andrew, we have won the 2006 and 2007 championship… Amber has followed in her mothers footsteps and is also a growing track star now running for the Fayetteville Flyers. Our son Bryson a two sport all star is one of the top football players in his age group. His baseball team was one game away from the Little League World Series. Our family also works with the homeless and kids at risk in Fayetteville, NC. I set on the board for "Rivers of Restoration" a non profit organization who's goal is to feed, cloth, find homes & jobs in hope to eradicate homelessness. |
